A new business in Stoughton this Spring:

Window signage for a new business opening

I feel so fortunate that my family and I were able to purchase Big Sky Restaurant at 176 E Main in Stoughton from my new friend, Nancy. I’m sure many of you enjoyed going out to dinner there over the years and were sad to see it close. I hope that many of you will come say hi and introduce yourselves when we open in the Spring, date TBD.

I am excited to be able to tell you a little bit about Dairyland Dessert Cafe! I have wanted to open some sort of cafe/bakery since I was making buckets of cookies to give out to classmates back in highschool, 20 years ago now. I truly believe that food is love, and I’m excited to share that love with Stoughton! Our plan is to be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings to start, and we will be offering an assortment of desserts, as well as coffee, tea, beer, and wine. We specialize in cheesecakes, but will also have available a selection of cookies and seasonal desserts.

If you’re walking downtown, and you see me in the building working, feel free to stop by. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming so far, in the first week the mayor even came by and introduced himself!
